Welcome to the 7th Newsletter of the FRONTSH1P Project

This seventh issue of the FRONTSH1P newsletter focuses on Work Package 7 (WP), which deals with the impact generation and assessment of our project, including our citizen engagement efforts and the development of a digital tool and corresponding methodology to enhance the FRONTSH1P’s circular economy approach. The five articles on WP7 give you an overview of the tasks and activities undertaken and detailed information on the approaches to citizen participation and the development of digital tools to support the transition to a circular economy. Finally, you will find a report on the last General Assembly of the project, which took place in Leeuwarden on 13 and 14 June.

Building on the methodology developed in the Friesland province and the work carried out in WP2, this platform will serve as an assessment tool for the circular economic approach.

The FRONTSH1P Circular Economy Action Plan

In order to achieve the objectives of the FRONTSH1P project, the Circular Governance Model and the Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP) for the Łódzkie region need to be elaborated. The frameworks for both documents are based on the assumptions adopted in the FRONTSH1P project and in regional strategic documents such as The Development Strategy of the Łódzkie Region 2030 and the action plan developed in the scope of the REPLACE project. Both the Circular Governance Model and the CEAP are crucial for the proper deployment of the circular economy in the region because they provide essential guidance and facilitate the transition.
